Well my name is Alyssa M. "Allie" I'm 26 years old and just started doing bmx. I'm having a hard time learning the bunny hop but I'm only on day 2 so things are going to get better. I'm married to a US Army soldier named Adam. He is a wonderful man. Adam use to do bmx when he was a kid so he's going to help me learn. (he's showing me a bunny hop today. He was doing them on my bike in the store it was cool.) Any way Adam & I have been to 4 states and another country (Korea) in the last 5 years. That's it I'm to old to be starting this new thing but I've always wanted to try and now I am. Thanks for the chance to say hello and hope to hear from you soon. LATER DAYS!

Sincerely,
Alyssa M. "Allie"

Welcome to the forums.

Bunny hopping takes a bit to get used to, but once it clicks it'll be there forever. And the movement skill are also used on all sorts of biking so you can do it also on mountain bikes and road bikes once you get the hang of it, though you probably wouldn't want to do it on the latter....

Hi Allie--bunnyhopping is a valuable skill to know! It's great to be able to spot those potholes in the road ahead and hop over them :D .
