This happened in September, but I didn't find out till today. Sam Whittingham has set a new record for the streamlined recumbent bicycle, a.k.a. the 200 meter sprint, by going 82.33MPH.

Seen it several times, I wish there was a longer clip/movie somewhere. I love the sound that bike makes as it goes by the camera.
