I hear the World Sport is the standard 68mm english threading.. Wondering if the same is true for the World.. I've done a lot of searching but I can't seem to find it.. I'm looking to upgrade my cranks and bb with some new components. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Both the '87 World and World Sport almost certainly have 68mm shell width (easily measured) with English threading (1.370" 24tpi).
The World Sport has SR SXC-310 crankset with 170mm crank arms and 40/52T chainrings. The World has Sugino #5 crankset with 170mm crank arms and 40/52T chainrings. The SR 310 chainrings have 110mm BCD. The bolt pattern for the Sugino #5 chainrings isn't shown in the '87 Parts & Accessories catalog.
