need more information.

i don't make decisions based just on looks. i'd evaluate based on price, what tubing they were made of, and what my needs were for a new frame.

If it were based on looks alone Id go with the blue frame and fork, only because its lugged and the track "drops" look nice :thumb:

I like the headtube/ toptube angle on the top one, but smaller, 650 front wheel? No.

I'm all for track frames on the street but pursuit frames are really pushing it. I vote neither of them, even for track riding they look god awful!

Top one with a proper front wheel would likely be rideable, but neither of those would really be high on my list of picks

If they are production models, I agree, but I am slowly warming up to the idea of older pursuit bikes that are pretty much NEVER going to be used for their intended purpose again because they're basically obsolete being reclaimed and outfitted to make them rideable on the street, so long as they're not historically important or something ridiculously nice like a Merckx or a Rossin or something.

both those bikes look cool but they seem to have more fork
rake and shallower head tube angles than a standard track geometry.
probably less skiddy and fun.

Affinity one looks crap and probably is.
Problem with the Orlowski is that it looks like a Pista without the Bianchi text on it which i find sickeningly stupid. I mean why the **** would they do that?
Obviously its lugged and the geometry is dramatically different but still.

<no offense> if you don't know enough about 'em to choose a pursuit frame for yourself, or try to compare two with different geometries but base the decision on looks, you shouldn't be on a pursuit frame </no offense>

First there are a multitude of variables that are important to factor in that aren't. Anyways, just looking at the frame your looking for a couple items; tubing material, how tubing is drawn (strait gauge, double butting), welds, and geometry.

based off the looks both are in-house brands

Blue bike-------------------------------------------- White bike-
-less aggressive riding geometry---------------more aggressive riding geometry
-shorter track fork ends(drop-outs)------------longer true track fork ends
-lugged frame construction----------------------TIG frame construction
-frame not bossed for water bottle cage------ bossed for water bottle
-pinch bolt seat clamp----------------------------removable ring seat clamp (not part of frame)
-fork is structurally the same---------------------fork is structurally the same
-mismatch 700c-rear 650c-front wheels---------consistent wheel size

There are a couple things that make the white bike the winner in my mind.
- consistent wheel size
- longer track ends (allow you to change out cog sizes w/o having to change chain.)
- TIG weld construction

Blue bike
- has a better crank in my opinion, thats about it.
that is just what I observed based on the photos.

I second that (Still no offense) but a pursuit frame is a very, very, very specialized pedigree. There's a good chance that if your not an experienced rider and don't know what your buying, your either gonna be very uncomfortable with the geometry, or spend a lot of money converting the geometry into something more comfortable ( via stems, handle bars, forks, spacers) to get it dialed in.
