Winter Cycling - wintery hats help

i need a winter hat with earflaps or some other ear warming device. i found a company, little package, who makes custom wool hats for 45 bucks. im wondering if thats the going price for a nice winter hat or if there are other brands that may make nice hats for less money.

Good wool isn't cheap but, it works extremely well. Ibex, Smartwool, Icebreaker, etc all make wool headgear. So does Swobo, and I like their wool beanie (http://www.swobo.com/catalog/product_info_a.php?cPath=1252&products_id=714) as it is more cycling specific. Joneswares (http://www.joneswares.com/category/_u_Head_Feet_and_Parts_In_Between_u_/c63)also has a wool thing or two for the head, is competitive with pricing and, is a first rate company.

Having said this, $45 for a custom made wool hat is not bad at all.

hmmm. maybe i need to clarify. i want a cycling cat, with a brim and all that. i have plenty of wool.winter hats/beanies but i want a cycling one. i may just dish out the 45 and get one of the hats i found.
