thinking of upgrading my IRO drop handle bars to flat bars, and upgrading the stem.

any suggestions

theres not really much advice to give on a flat bar. you can get a cheap MTB bar from performance and chop it to about 17" across and it will look good. then choose grips, like bmx style. for stems, start looking on ebay for what you want.
