does anyone here use a campy ultra torque crank on their cross bike?

i've got a spare centaur crank that i'd like to use to build a cross bike but i've heard rumors that the UT style crank may not seal the BB bearings as well as traditional BB's and by the nature of CX, with mud and dirt being flung about, it may not be such a good idea to run UT cranks.

I run a Veloce UT compact crank with no ill effects on the bearings, but we have dry dusty cross here in the SW US. The bigger issue is getting the chainrings to work right, since Campy has one bolt that doesn't fit a traditional 110bcd.

A more in depth discussion can be found by searching for Campy UT on the "other" cross forum (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/forumdisplay.php?f=47)
