Anyone up for an over-night bicycle camping trip from Golden Gate Estates to Okaloacoochee State forest located just north of Immokalee on SR 832. Its around 50mi one way. I would leave Fri morn and be back Sat afternoon..

The next overniter: Ride from Golden Gate Estates to Big T canal camping. Then ride through Jane's Scenic Drive the following morn. As always, leave Fri am and be back Sat afternoon..Happy New year..

Ave Maria is by far one of the weirdest places I've been. Do you ever ride south to Chokoloskee? I've read that none of the campgrounds on the island have tent camping, but last time I was there I saw a campground sign that said they did.

Which Ave Maria are you referring to? Ive been thru Chokoloskee on roadie/group rides. Not sure about tent camping there. Have you toured thru the Naples area?

Ave Maria the planned Catholic town. I'm not sure if it's changed now, but they have a ban on the sale of contraceptives anywhere in the town. One of the founders was involved in a child porn scandal a few years back, too. Go figure. I haven't rode anywhere around that area, but I've been out there a handful of times. I really like Chokoloskee Island.
