ROJA and I have been doing some mid-paced early morning weekday rides starting from Orinda BART at 5:30-5:45AM and going for a loop to Redwood Rd, up to Chabot and back down Pinehurst to Canyon or along Grizzly returning back via Wlidcat. Distance ranges from 25-33ish miles with 2-3000ft climbing in <2hrs. There are a few variants to keep it interesting.
