HOW THE HELL DOES THIS WORK?
specialized "presta valve" inner tube. i can take a picture if needed, but my 8$ walmart pump WILLLLLL NOTT pump air into this tube and its just making me so infuriated

edit: Short version: you need an adapter. You can probably get one at a LBS for a couple bucks.

buy a presta/schrader adaptor, you probably only have a schrader pump

A couple of bucks is steep. I got mine for 89 or 99 cents.

i found my presta adapter. :thumb:
HA! I love all of these new cyclists. You need a presta valve adapter, they are a buck at most bike shops.

Hey all it may be he just didn't know how presta valves work! I knew i had the right pump had it for several years and used it on my other 2 wheeler(works on both type stems). Did not know you had to unscrew the valve b4 you pump it up and then screw it tight again after! I took it to the LBS and told them hey I'm a dummy wth is wrong here. I about 30 seconds he showed me the error of my ways. Coulda been dummer and ruined the stem I guess! We ain't never to old to learn.
