Up for sale is my 2006 XL Fuji Team Issue C7 frameset (the same as a Scott CR1 Team Issue - ie. sub 1000 gram frame and stiff as a board) fully kitted out with new and lightly used high end componentry. It has a mainly Sram Force drivetrain with BRAND NEW Force shifters that replaced the Rival shifters that I had on there previously. The shifters are placed upon dependable and sturdy 44cm c-t-c oversized alloy Deda Elementi handlebars and a lightweight and stiff 100mm Token stem. These things don't move when you put the pedal to the metal and I'm 190 pounds and put out a fair amount of watts in a sprint. The crankset has been replaced with a BRAND NEW 470 gram Zipp crankset (53/39, 175mm). The cranks spin on a lightly used American Classic ISIS BB (and spin they do, much more so than external BB bearings). Add them both up and you get a 600 gram crankset! Try attaining that weight with external bottom bracket cranks! Stopping power is provided by a set of Zero Gravity Ti brakes that have had the black finish stripped for a totally unique grey finish to show off titanium's true color. These things weigh in at a feathery 170 grams. Your derriere rests upon a Selle Italia 135 gram saddle that is exceptionally comfy. The saddle is supported by a lightweight Use Alien Carbon seatpost (27.2mm). It rides on completely bombproof 32 double butted Wheelsmith spoked Ultegra 600 hubs laced up to Mavic OpenCD rims. These things are WITHIN 1mm of perfectly true - I can't see any wobble with my naked eye. The wheels are shod with Michelin Pro2 Race tires. It comes with a very lightly used 12-25 (10 speed of course) Shimano 105 cassette and power is applied through an awesome (and NEW) Wipperman Connex chain. In case you haven't seen one of these things before, they have an awesome quick link connector that makes removing the chain a breeze. Not to mention they are possibly the lightest 10 speed chains you can find... If you're anal about cleaning your chain, this is probably the best investment you can make. I have them on all of my bikes and absolutely love them. In current form, this beautiful piece of machinery weighs in well under 16 pounds. Replace the bombproof training wheels and cassette with your favorite carbon tubulars and you have a sub 15 pound bike ready to demolish the competition. The bike has just been completely cleaned and rebuilt/tuned.

In order to be fully accurately and honest in my description of this awesome bike, I must disclose the few flaws that do exist. The sides of the saddle towards the front have worn through the leather but this does not effect the comfort or fit of the saddle. There are your usual paint scratches and dings from being a 2+ year old bike frame that has been transported to and fro and was actually ridden. Also, when I went to remove the plastic cable guide and screw at the bottom of the frame, the screw came out very easily and went back in very easily as if the threading had partially eroded or stripped. It never fell out so I'm guessing it should stay put and plus there are two cables that are applying upwards pressure against the plastic guide so even if the bolt did fall out, the plastic guide will remain in place and do it's job. Also, the two cable adjusters on the side of the top tube have seemed to have frozen shut. I never had any problems with this as the front derailleur never goes out of adjustment anyways and the rear derailleur has a built in barrel adjuster. I would think some penetrating oil and/or a smack with a mallet would cure this problem if you are so inclined but I never was bothered enough to try.

Any potential buyers also have a few options that they can request. I have a brand new Force crankset that could be swapped out as well as a used but in excellent condition white Selle Italia Turbo saddle if you are interested.

$1750 obo.
