My wife and I are planning on coming out to Salt Lake for a couple of weeks to do some skiing (her) and riding (me) at the 'Bird. We will definitely evacuate before the Olympic hoopla gets cranked up. Our regular crash pad fell through when our friend sold his house and split town. I am planning on bringing the road bike and doing some training on the weekends- we like to avoid the weekend resort crowds.
Anybody out there got some or know of any floor space available? We are quite easy to get along with and we love travelling with our two well-socialized and well-behaved dogs (both 40 lbs.). They have stayed in many homes across the country and go to all bike races with us.
We are willing to part with some $$ to make it worth your while. Generally very quiet, we head up to the resort M-F and crash pretty early in the evening- we're not all night partiers.
We will be eager to reciprocate with our basement apt. here outside of Athens, GA. A year-round cycling mecca!!
