Road Cycling - Saddleco Flow - wish me luck!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Well, I just got the Flow Ti model and I'm hoping I'll be able to test it very soon.
It weighs in at 257g and built fairly well. The tension near the nose area is surprisingly loose - definitely not meant for heavy riders (I weigh 145 lbs). My initial sit test proves comfortable, but a few hours in the saddle will give me a really good indication if it's all that it's cracked up to be. The poly filament weave is bonded to the frame by melting them together. Only time will tell if this saddle is durable and if the filaments would stretch over time. A couple of sharp edges underneath the saddle due to the bonding process, but nothing tragic. Once I have a test ride on it I'll post my impressions.

I have heard ehavy riders did not have any problems with it. to me it has too much rise in the back I need a flatter saddle.

Great choice!
I got one of these several months ago and have been comfy every since! I've tried a lot of different saddles to get that comfort on century rides and brevets and this one is by far the best. After 1 test ride of about 60 miles I did a 300k brevet on it with absolutely not problems during or after the ride. Since then, I've ridden a couple of century rides, again with no problems. Can't really comment on the durability of the saddle yet.
You will probably need to raise your seatpost 1 to 1 1/2 cm to compensate for the give in the mesh when you put your weight on it, and you may want to set it back 1/2 to 1 cm since the very back of the seat is frame and not really usable saddle area.
As good as the saddle is, there are a few things I would like to see changed -- like another poster said, the profile of the saddle could be flatter. Also, the nose/front of the saddle could be a little narrower -- if you peddle with your knees very close to the top tube, there may be chafing issues.
For heavier/larger riders I can see some potential problems like bottoming out on the seatpost clamp bolt and/or pressure/chafing from the frame on the sides of the saddle (from wider sit bones).
