Pardon the obnoxious sized photo...Here is my question - I LOVE the shape of these shallow drop bars. What kind/brand are they? Marin's site says they are "Nitto Alloy Track Drop, 25.4mm" but when I look at Nitto bars anywhere online I don't see anything remotely close to the shape/size of what Marin shows.

Does anyone own one of these or recognize the handlebar? Thanks
Chris

Probably not the actual bars but those look a lot like the FSA Wing Pro Compact. I think that I'm gonna get em for my road bike pretty soon.

"Nitto Alloy Track Drop, 25.4mm, Kerin Approved"
According to the specs on that page you linked to.

Yeah I know, I quoted that in my first post. They are wrong, look at the Nittos and you'll see they don't make anything remotely close to the bars shown.
And yes, this Marin is expensive. Nice looking bike though, and I want those bars.

You're right. I didn't look at you whole post due the picture screwing up the justification.

there's a video on MTBR with a guy talking about the bike (i didn't actually listen to the sound because i'm at work)
but the bike clearly has normal nitto-esque bars on it. i don't know whats up with the crazy picture from their site and the OP.

In the sound part he manages to say "fixie" more times than anyone should ever hear. He also tells you that you can, and possibly should, "run the whole fixie thing" and "take off the brakes" which is not a good thing. That guy clearly was just makin' it up as he went along, and not doing a very good job of it.
