General Cycling Discussion - I gotta get one of these!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Tells motorists and other cyclists how fast you're riding. :twitchy:

Darn! Doesn't read higher than 70. What good is it?
If I had one I would program the computer to think I had larger wheels/tires than I actually do so that it would report higher speeds. Then the paceline would respect me!

If I'm riding 15 mph and stuck behind some guy showing "25 mph" on the back of his vest, that's not going to whomp up a lot of respect in my mind.

The guy could use the excuse that it's in KPH.....would be pretty close. :)
Does it come with an 'exaggerate' button in case you're having a bad day and are embarrassed about your speed?
Pfft, I'd set it low. Find some guy giving it his all, and pass him at about twelve miles an hour...

You know, that's cruel. Can I really set it up that way?
