Do you have a shop in Helsinki? How big is the ss/fixed scene?

I taught Englisha and Swedish in Hartola back in '97 and enjoyed my time in Finland quite a bit. Experienced my first vapu, went to some cool clubs. Even considered staying and living there.

Singlespeeds are massive this year. Not so many fixies over here as yet, about a dozen in Helsinki, I think, mostly messengers and few older track guys. No shop sells proper messenger bags, so these have to be ordered from US or UK. Helsinki is quite a nice place, methinks
