The Halifax police nearly ruined a Norwegian TV production when the norwegian viking ship Berserk made the last preparations in the harbor of Halifax before sailing thru the Northwest passage, as Roald Amundsen was the first to do a long time ago.
Two out of four crew members was arrested and thrown out of Canada, the cook and the mechanic.
The mechanic because he was an Hells Angel and the cook we do not know why.
Its good to see the police do a properly job, but this was handpicked nice and harmless people on an expedition that that was made for broadcasting.

Any news about this in Nova Scotia media?
I hope this is not the usual way Halifax police welcome foreigners?

Unfortunately i could not find any TV clip from the harbor in Halifax when the police boarded the boat, but here is the website:

Not much interest in vikings in East Canada?, i am sure some of you must find this some way interesting, its a tough travel with sails and not wheels, its your country folks, your ice, our fellow water, ice and land before history forgot..! Berserk sailboat has found a replaceable member in the ice up there now...wildvikings.com, its been broadcasted on Norwegian TV directly each week now. A true and tough journey... Not bicycle but journey where its tough! Hail to the Captain Jarle for giving a exceptional and never done journy to the public. The Norwegian do it again! A Hail to New Foundland, Canada, Norway and the far places up north!
