Question: How to contact Polar customer service?
I have a cs200cad (a HRM for bicycles). This is my third or fourth Polar HRM. Customer service has always been very slow, but for the current problem I'm having, it's been more than a month. I really don't know what to do right now.
I have tried the following:
Talked to my LBS about the problem. They've suggested a bunch of things that work sometimes, but not consistently.
15 Oct 2008: Sent a customer service request from here: http://www.polar.fi/en/support/product_support No response.
23 Oct 2008: Posted in the forums here: http://forum.polar.fi/showthread.php?t=2133 No response.
Today: Looking for a service center from here: http://www.polar.fi/en/service_finder. No luck there. I live in San Francisco, CA, USA and get this message: We did not find results for your search.
I did find some US service centers by mistake:

TEXAS
tel: 214-742-6325
fax: 214-747-6026At this point, I'll try my LBS again, but I assume that they're going to contact Polar anyway. I figured I could save them some trouble by contacting them directly.
For the curious, I think my transmitter (the one on the fork) doesn't work very well; the computer frequently loses the connection. I've tried putting the sensor in six different places on the fork.
Thanks in advance for any help.
