Hey Singlespeed and fixie riders out there. I have probably planned this event too late in the year and will plan one for early next year but, On November 22, this Saturday, I am hoping to meet alot of the singlespeed community as we ride the Streets of Nashville and the greenways starting from the Kroger on White Bridge road and Harding Road and riding out to the Percy Priest Dam and reurn the same route. As far as I can recall, there are three challenging climbs and the most is flat. I am more or less going to make this a trial run since I am not sure of the turnout and the lack of advertisement. If you like what you see, respond and lets see what our SS/Fixie community can stir up. Thanks

Sorry you couldn't make it. That's O.K. though. Four of us took on the cold and rode the 42 mile route from the Kroger in Belle Meade following the greenway through Mc Cabe golf course which dumped out onto Nebraska Av. We turned on several sidestreets until we came to 31st av. After crossing West End it became Blakemore. We took Blakemore to 16th Av and down to Demonbreun to 4th av and an immediate right through the Schermerhorn over the Shelby pedestrian bridge. Took Davidson street into Shelby bottoms adn onto the new Pedestrian bridge that spans the cumberland shores of east Nashville and Opry mills. The greenway continued through several sections until we arrived at the Percy Priest Dam. We rode to the closest market for drinks and returned the same way. After one of our friends broke off we went a different route through Centennial park back to 31st and reconnected with the streets that led us back to the greenways back to Kroger. A great Ride. I will be trying to get more people together on or around March 15th. It depends which would be a better day; Saturday or Sunday. Spread the word. I am hoping to see lots of SS/fixie riders.
