I just had a nice response from Jim Malusa Author of "Into Think Air", where he pedaled to the lowest points on 6 continents. I asked what bike used those 700x47 tires that took him to those mostly horribly isolated places on terrible roads. Predictably, to me, it was a Bruce Gordon Rock and Road, wildly he picked it up for $450 at a yard sale.
