fly
I dont like either of the frames, but as much as i dislike fly products all together, their frames do have a nice easy geometry to them
why dont you get something nice and american made?

I usually don't like non American made things but the specs for the Subrosa frame look amazing. What would you suggest? I considered the S&M ltf but I don't want to pay 399 for a frame. The cheaper the better.

No. Instead of the Pantera I'd change it to the tierra.
Tierra or Alameda.
I think Tierra.

i have an LTF. It is nothing short of amazing. the quality is absolutly insane. every weld is perfect, not a single flaw. you deff get what you pay for.
The new dakota rosh frame looks pretty sweet. its 40 buck less than the ltf and its still usa made.
One major thing i hate about fly is the fact that 80% of what we are paying for a fly part comes from the distribution and shipping of the product. it gets shipped to like 5 diff loactions befor it even reaches your hands. the price gets marked up after each location.
a fly frame prob cost 50 dollars to produce. not to mention they only have a 2 year warrentey. and trying o geta warrentey claim from fly is like pulling teeth cause you have to go threw the diff distributors.
I work at a bike shop so i know cost on a lot of items. Cost on my LTF was 270. That is being shipped directly from s and m to me. Their cost to make an LTF is about 160. it costs s and m 160 to make a frame with out making a penny off it.

I was also looking at the Dakota frame. Not gonna lie it seems like a cheaper s3.5. I can't find the seattube height though. The thing I like about the tierra is the shorter chainstay and seattube height.

ya thats why its going to be such a great frame. you dont want a chain stay lenght thats too short. the bike will feel loopy.
My friend has a 21" 3.5 that he bought, and rode once and then bought a 20.75 s3.5
the frame is black and i can see if he wants to get rid of it if your interested

The one he wants to get rid of is the 21"? Too big for me. Why would it feel loopy? Since the Dak is like the s3.5 what is the seattube height?

I also added the midnite moonlite to the list.
Why were you giving me **** for buying the killarado, it's only a tiny bit smaller then those.

I didn't. Personally I think Fit is better than blackeye but whatever.
Oh, yeah but if i got the fit it wouldn't even be smaller.
I ordered the blackeye and i got it today.
I love it, it feels great. I'm going to get a bike check up tommorow.

I don't know what your are talking about, don't bother trying to explain it either. So it is either between the Moonlite or Tierra for sure.
Are you looking for a shorter backend? Because the tierra is 13.25 and the midnight is like 13.6 or something. I think the tierra though.

I have an opportunity to get a fly frame brand new at the lbs for $250. Only thing is they don't know what model it is nor do I.
Edit: actually I found out it is a Diablo 3
Hrmmm this is a good deal but the Midnite Moonlite is awesome.
