If youre looking for something more of a classic look, just buy another stem for each handlebar. Theyre not that expensive.

Usually stems with removable face plates are just bulky and ugly.

isnt there one called a bullfrog or something? i remember those looked nice. I switched to an oversize wing bar on my 97 trek (threaded headset) and used a quill to threadless converter. It works well, but does have a bit of an ugly factor to it.

i use an ITM 800 open

under that front cap is a hinge that allows it to open

Cinelli Frogs were pretty nice, not classic design though. Don't know if they're still made.

Salsa is the only commonly available, non butt-ugly option. But they only come in black.

You can sometimes find cinelli frogs or TTT stems with removeable faceplates on ebay.

what comes stock on the 06-07 windsor hour/fuji track are all removable face stems..

not gonna win you any style-points, tho..

anyone know what stem they used on the fuji X obey bike? It was a nice quill with removable faceplate. I just need to find a polished one though instead of gold...
