Thanks Joe for directing me to the intro thread. I'm a retired Coastie aviator living in the mountains of western North Carolina. I fully retired two years ago at the age of 46. In my spare time, I've been cutting the lawn, cleaning laundry/dishes/house, cooking, gardening, making household repairs, volunteering for 4 non-profit agencies including being a Big Brother, cycling 3,000 miles (2007) and getting near 2000 this year thus far. Wheew! That was a mouthful. Since retiring, I've been a cycling guide, indoor cycling instructor for a local YMCA and ski instructor. I simply enjoy meeting people, helping people, teaching people and absolutely love cycling! I look forward to visiting the Bike Forums as much as I can to learn a little and laugh a little. Cycle on!
