I wanna order some leather tape, and am trying to save money where I can... And even though this site is in England, the shipping probably won't end up being more than getting these things from within the US.

What's the deal? Anyone order from them? The tape is like 30 bucks cheaper than it is anywhere else. The saddles too.

best prices I've come across for brooks in the states are http://www.lickbike.com/manfline1.asp?MANF=%27Brooks%27

but VO has this: http://www.velo-orange.com/veorlehata.html

I'm doing antique brown / brown, otherwise I would opt for that VO stuff... I think I'm getting it all from Universal Cyclces, there's a 10 percent discount.

I am getting the stitch-up stuff from velo-orange. I just think it looks better than the brooks wrap, and is a LOT cheaper.

I own the green Brooks bar tape. I spent $56 on eBay plus like 7 bucks shipping.

Expensive indulgence, I admit.

I don't know if they've got the bar wrap, but they've swallows for $136. Ships out of the UK, but still dirt cheap.

how is the vo elk hide stuff? I've heard it's delicate.

The VO stuff is not in any way delicate. Also, SJS is liable to charge lots of money for transatlantic shipping!

I'm not 100% vegan or anything, but if you think about it, putting leather all over everything is kinda gross.

www.chainreactioncycles.com (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com)

Another UK site.

I just ordered some for my girlfriend. $35 + shipping. Free shipping for orders over $250. So, I FORCED myself to order $215 worth of stuff for myself...
