Fifty Plus (50+) - New Vintage Trainer

I recently sold my vintage rider and had no regrets until I needed a bike for a new fluid trainer. I think I scored a good one today. Its a Raleigh USA 58 or 59 cm, frame and fork are Reynolds 753. Gruppo is Campy Chorus, wheels are custom built Mavic Open 4 Cd with Campy hubs, Wheelsmith spokes, Cinelli stem and handlebars, Campy droupouts, seat is a carbon gel Speedmax on Ti rails. Fork,stays and headtube are black, main triangle is red with white decals. I'll get pictures up later on today. No dings or rust but plenty of dust. The weight is around 18 pounds; it feels just a tad heavier than my CF framed rocket.

Wow, that is much too good a bike for a trainer - you'd better send it to me for proper handling before you do something unsafe!!!

Seriously, anything in 753 is in my opinion a find indeed.:thumb: Those wheels will be great road wheels - be sure you get it out on the road when the weather gets better. Model sounds like a Team Raleigh of some sort.

One would think a digital camera would be a dang difficult thing to misplace ---- especially when I just had it in hand four days ago. Pics are coming as soon as I find the camera. :o :eek: Lp
