Only 181 days 'till RAGBRAI...most of the money is in the bank, the bike has been overhauled, now if the weather will just hold so I can continue to train! Hope to see some BF friends there!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I'm all set to go. Hopefully I can save up to buy the recumbent by July. I am not sure if I will go on the whole ride or just a few days, like last year. I am still in negotiations with a couple of friends as I am finding most people wouldn't voluntarily ride a bike for 7 solid days. Who would've thought?

I'm planning to do the GRABAAWR ride (Ride along the Wisconsin River) the last week of June. Since I'm too big of a wimp to ride in the cold and slippery I guess I'll start training in April. I would like to do the Ride the Rockies, but getting out there and back is too big of a hassle. Then again, once they announce the route next month I might change my mind.

I am doing that ride also . as a warm up for a tour ILL start the following week ILL see you onthe road then!!

Sounds good. With all of your touring experience I'd love to get to get to talk to you for a while. What should I look for, a rider with whiskers and a tail fin?

I am also doing the ride. I am rider number 567. This will be my first tour ride longer than 150 miles. Maybe we can hook up sometime before the ride.
