I hope he gets all the treatment I saw on all those episodes of Oz, that prison show on HBO. I've heard these types of guys are at the lowest end of the hierarchy, in prison. remember that pedophile priest who got nailed to the floor of the basketball court?
danka, was there anything unusual you noticed about him? anything out of the ordinary? any indication before the incident, or something you realised in hindsight?

Too bad they can't put him in the Facility that lent it's name to his hometown. They'd teach him a thing or two about buggery

Way to go! Detective James McLaughlin. He's been getting sick people like this off the streets for a couple of years.

Up to 7 years for thinking about commiting a crime seems a bit harsh. The crime, however, is sick. Treatment for sex offenders does not work, he will offend again when he gets out. I'll bet on that.

I would not consider what this "man" did to be "thinking" about committing a heinous crime. I would characterize it as planning and intending to commit a serious felony.

I feel that if they arrest him in person at the place intended to meet with the "14" year old, then its justifiable and good. However I don't believe that arresting someone before they actually commit to thier act is justifiable. I'm not sure which situation this case was...
