Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - What is it about this bike?

#769 on the fixed gear gallery. Somebody posted this as their bike, and it's still on eBay. Anyway, what is it about this bike that is worth so much money? Not even a track hub. Am I missing something on both accounts?

Now if that was a track frame, I'd bid on it.

I think most of these bidders are not fixed gear riders. They just want the frame. It doesn't matter what's on it or how it's set up.

it's columbus tubing? and a bianchi? and celeste? $425 for a complete bike with a columbus frame isn't really all that much. the cranks are kinda cool too. plus it's a 53cm, which is a pretty average size...so i guess a lot of people want it and are willing to pay up to a certain amount for it. i'd look for it to go for around $500...seems like a fair price for a used bianchi.
