i'm about to break my bank on what seems like a great deal:

i'm tired of my old bike and feel like i'm ready for a real machine.
i've been reading mixed reviews -
should i go for it?

If it fits, then hell yes.

Absolutely, so long as the condition is good. Veloce is a very good groupset.

guys/gals. i'm going to ride it tomorrow. would haggling just be rude? - this seems like a great price.
i. am. stoked! too bad winter cometh, but maybe the new bike will give me a reason to bundle up and ride through it!

Enjoy the test ride! Trying to get a cheaper price isn't rude.

i got it for 500, and
after 2 years of 80's friction shifters, it feels pretty damn swell.
the geometry is different than i'm used to, but i'm warming up. too bad the weather isn't.
i feel like i got a pretty good deal, especially with all the ripoffs around here.
anyone tour on one o these?
