The website I got it from said it was an old cable lock, and in San Diego.

I was thinking that note could've been left on a bike at NYU. Story sounds familiar...

I think about writing that note every single day.

i thought about leaving a note like that on a bike for a while that was always wrongly locked everyday(not at night) near my office, it wasn't anything too special, just a single speed conversion with porter bars and cork grips, it was kinda cute, it reminded me of my bike but smaller and not fixed, i think my bike had a crush on it, one day it's not there anymore, i don't know if the person moved or if the bike was stolen, now that i think of it the bike was missing the last week or so at the job so maybe they were just on vacation, i guess i'll never know if it was stolen

i almost left a note like that on a nice road bike that was locked only by the QR front wheel.

haha, all the more fitting on a dynamex manifest. half the dudes i see working for them probably wouldn't think twice about lifting a poorly locked bike. - nice/humorous of the anonymous to warn the rider like that though.
