Only 25 minutes to go on Ebay.co.uk
Got to be worth a punt considering what I spent to get my R20 wreck!

Somebody had one of these in the bike racks at work a few weeks back. Can't say I was impressed, but at that price....
Interesting. My first thought on seeing that it's a 3-speed was that the 3-speed hub is probably worth more that 25UKP. Then I saw that it has a derailleur. I don't think I've ever seen a 3-speed with a derailleur.
The seller has several others for sale.
The ad also claims "This bike is the first folding bike to have suspension." I guess he's never heard of Downtube. Or the Dahon Jetstream. What other folders are out there with suspensions? There must be others...

Yeah- I know. :) I had a laugh about the suspension thing. I just paid £15 for a forty year old R20, covered in rust. I also had to put in £10 of diesel to go and collect it, so that comes to £25 for some old junk. In the end, the 'first folding suspension bike in the world' went for £71 anyway.
Maybe I should delete the thread. The moment of wonderment at the price has passed.

maybe it is a 3 speed deraileur gear.
but it says brakes are all calliper when the rear is plainly a band brake.

Leave it up. The guy has lots of them, and maybe someone would be interested in getting one .... remember cheaper folding bikes are a gateway to more expensive ones.

Actually, some of the cheaper models are perfectly usable. Spending large amounts of money is an enthusiast thing. They may be nicer, but they are rarely three and four times as nice as the cheaper ones. Spending loads of cash on bikes is like buying art. You do it out of love rather than because it is a better way to ride to work or down to the shops.
I bought a very cheap IKEA bike. It was really a Raleigh folder and IKEA UK gave out thousands of them to their employees one Christmas, many of whom promptly put them up on ebay.co.uk where they were going for about £65. IT is an excellent basic folder. Very usable and excellent for a smaller person. I found it a bit cramped but the lady I bought it for has had faultless use of it.
Anyway - when I looked I couldn't seem to delete the thread. Maybe I am wrong, but I think you used to be able to delete threads. Could be I am thinking of another forum website. In my time I have dabbled around with a few.
