so i bought new wheels for my Trek and when i went to take the front wheel off i can't get it to budge.

the axle nuts come off with no problems but then i am left with this:

the silver rings won't budge or move at all so i can't get the wheel off.

help?

I'd put the axle nut back on (not tight) and whack it with a mallet/rubber handle of wrench.

Or try rocking it back and forth.

Nope nope and nope,there is a beveled washer thats jammed in to the fork's dropout. Just pry it loose and the wheel will come right out.
