Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - The "What don't you like about my bike" thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's simple....post your bike, people tell you what they like and don't like. I wouldn't post if you are sensitive :)
I'll start it off

gold chains are for Long Island guidos. Too many risers. Are those the stock pedals with plastic clips? Prefer silver/chrome to black (seatpost, chainring/cranks, stem).
Nice tires.

Way too many risers, Stem is facing wrong way (or maybe you like it inclined upwards) Would have gone with Pursuits instead of Bullhorns, you have a front brake, and your saddle looks very uncomfortable. Are you trying to get some kind of individual style with this thing, or are you just going to run mostly stock?

Ditch the stickers on the rims. And the spoke card. And those bars.

Not a riser fan. And please tell me that's not a reflector on the seat tube. ;)

This picture looks odd? Are those tires 650s? It looks like the aspect ratio is off, or maybe it's an optical illusion created by that door.

If he's not riding on the track, why does he need to replace his quick release axle?

Fix those bars (tape, angle) and add a brake and that looks like a winner.

Why, I kind of liked the perky little things....
What frame is that?

11-21-08, 04:09 PM
Why do people angle 21's down like that? I had a pair and couldn't imagine having them angled down like so. I could see if your frame was too small it might be more comfortable but then again whatever is comfortable.
