New pedals?

:eek: :roflmao2::roflmao2::roflmao2:

I've never encountered such. Have you tried regular, good old-fashioned leather ones? Christophe(Zefal)? Ale? They work great.

Remember kids - it's righty-tighty lefty-loosey. Except with pedals...

and drive side bottom bracket cups, except with french and italian ones.

Use 2 single straps side by side?

New pedals?

+1 (I assume you mean clipless.)

Right. Clipless or new clip and strap pedals. The old double strap pedals were intended for track riders and even they don't use straps much any more.

No doubt that's because straps break.

I just use two single straps on my bike. Strangely enough I have clipless on my track bike and use double-straps on my road bike. I prefer to have the adjustable tightness for comfort on most of the ride and then cinch it down tightly for the final sprint.

Sure! Give that a try before you buy more pedals.I get it now and good straps can be found cheap. I have a box of them - and I didn't try to accumulate them. They just fell in the box! LOL.

Incoherency is a sign of oxygen deprivation. Go for a bike ride.
