No, not even close. Too expensive, components are all worthless, cottered bottom brackets are a miserable pain in the ass, and if you're taller than about 5' it'll be too small.
hey chidane you still haven't found a bike yet? what kind of bike are you looking for and what's your budget?

It comes with a big bike lock, as well as an under-seat saddle.

It's kind of hard to tell from the photo in the ad, but 1977 and older would have cotterless cranks.

That said, I agree with PunctualAlex that the components are not of the best, although I wouldn't say they're worthless. It likely has SR (Sakae Ringyo = Suntour) cranks if they're cotterless. They used to came in 118 BCD so it would be a pain to swap out a chainring if you need to. although I'm not sure about this specific bike.
Considering that it runs 27s, if you wanted to buy a new wheelset and did many other mods, you'd be approaching the price of the KHS.

Nope! You basically paying 175 bfor a crappy frame,. you might as well get a complete starter bike from bikesdirek or womthing, youll pay less and get a better bike.
Hks might be something to consider, depends on components.
w/e you do, good luck and have fun riding

the 2nd one looks like a nice enough bike, but not $320 nice and it looks like the seller is a total d_o_u_c_h_e nozzle

For 320 you're getting a renolds 520 frame/fork with lifetime warranty.
FSA crank, Sealded BB, Threadless cane creek headset, DP-18 wheellset, San marco saddle, Dura ace cog and a tektro brake.
If u ask me, that's not a bad deal..
Spec out the kilo and look at um side by side..

whats wrong with that chain tension lol
It does have a saddle under the seat, that's like 2 for 1 saddles.
$320 + $29 = $349 (Mercier Kilo TT - bikesdirect.com)
much better... yes?

no.
the khs is not a bad deal- maybe you can go check it out and test ride it. though for $329 you can get a new kilo tt for not much more brand new or one of the other bikesdirect bikes.

par-kay?
1. LIFETIME WARRANTY.
2. Threadless headset.
3. Sealed bottom bracket.
4. Better wheels.
5. Dura ace > no name.
6. San marco..
7. Fit and finish(heavy coat)
8. Small brick and morter > internet hype.

IMO: Kilos TT's are total hype.
Kilo pros/KHS flite100's are a decent deal.
