Hey everybody, just wanted to say hi. I recently moved to Charlotte and discovered quite a lot of riding is avaliable here. I picked up a new bike a few weeks ago and am having a blast with it. So far I have found this board to be vary helpfull, also love the humor section.

Greetings from Winston Salem. If you get a chance the Yadkin Valley, just north a bit, has a lot of riders every weekend.

Welcome to the forums, j-dub. I lived about 30 years in Charlotte, 6 years in Kannapolis.

Lots of good clubs around Charlotte. Another good club just North of Charlotte is the Rocky River bicycle club. Website at http://www.geocities.com/yosemite/trails/3282/.

Thanks moonshot, that site seems to have lots of info. Seems to be a fairly active group with several group rides a month.
