I was out in Marin on Friday - visiting San Francisco, and enjoying the sunny weather while my home was buried in snow.
I'd rented a road bike in SF and was 77 miles into a beautiful, spectacular ride when my rental bike had a tire problem. I was just short of the Pelican Inn on Rt 1.
I want to thank all the bikers who stopped to help, especially the one who went to the Inn and then came back to tell me he'd found me a ride to Sausalito. And really especially to the guy who loaded my bike into the back of his truck and took me to Mike's Bikes in Sausalito.
I'm really impressed with you guys, and I'll definitely be back out to enjoy those spectacular roads of Marin.
