Alright, my cheap Santini bibs work fine in keeping my bottom from getting sore. However I ride enough that any padding will keep the pain away...I think. However, keeping my package in place is a differert matter. I thinking the pads in the Santinin bibs are not wide enough in the crotch? I always thought the more expensive bib/shorts were made in relation to better comfort, but maybe that includes keeping the privates in place on the saddle? Any suggestions on that.

I always use bib shorts, and whenever I want new Shorts, I go to a large shop, that carries vast stocks of clothing. There I will find 4 or 5 different manufacturers, and once I have settled on the size I want, I try on the manufacturers that are within my price range, once I have settled that manufacturer and size, I then try on 3 or 4 pairs within that Manufacturer and size for the one pair that fit perfectly. Takes time, and a BIG shop to be able to do it, but it is always worth it in the end.

I do, but I also wash the shorts I buy before I use them
