I'm charging him a fifth of what they charge, and I'll still be making out like a bandit. :)

I always thought the 928 S4 was a cool car.

Oddly enough, even though they look slick as snot, the 928's were not aerodynamically efficient cars. Case in point, when they added the front and rear spoilers, not only did they get an decrease in lift, but they also decreased the drag of the car.
The 928 was designed to replace the 911 in 1978. It was only by the order of the Porsche's, who still had an interest in the company, that the 911 did not die out.
Lots more interesting facts about the 928 if one where to look around for it. ;)

I'm sure he'd let me take it out. He's a pretty cool guy like that. :D

I'm not sure what you are saying here. Your "case in point" doesn't really jive with your initial statement. The addition of functional spoilers usually does decrease lift and drag to create more downforce.
The very early 928's had crappy cd's but the later ones were pretty respectable. About the same as a Z06 Corvette.
I got to drive a 928gts around the short track at Nurburgring in 1995. Was awesome.
Make sure you charge for mileage when you drive to and from the guys place to work on the car. :D
