Foo - Hey Court - ya out there?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ok this might be a silly idea, but we all know about Court's situation. I was thinking he could post up his paypal address for anyone who wants to throw a couple of bucks his way. It ain't charity - its helping a friend in need kind of thing. :)

I think that is a great idea if he's comfortable with it! Maybe something along the lines of caringbridge.com (http://www.caringbridge.com) could be set up... Court, if you're around... let us know!
Never silly to help a friend - and good call on Caring Bridge, Arti.
Caring Bridge is a good venue for this.

I was flipping through old threads last night and came across Court's thread where he was getting kicked out by his roommate. That was where this idea came from. To be honest I don't think I would handle his situation with anywhere near the grace that he has shown. He's contributed a lot here too - just thought it would be cool to give something back. Assuming as Arti said that he's cool with it. :)
took me so long to reply because I was at a loss for words when I read this thread.
It is an amazing feeling to find out people care.

This thread needs a picture of two cats hugging, and I can be the man to provide it.

So who's going to set up this caring bridge thing? This thread is the first I'd heard of it.
I could look into it, unless someone else is an old hand....

Maybe he will change his mind if we put something together with spare parts. We have plenty of those i'm sure. Frame size may be the only issue..

yes. It doesn't have to be caring bridge - just give us a holler.:)

But if the built up frame only fits Falkon or I, we'll be happy to take it.
it is awesome to have friends out there but, if someone gave me money, i would probably just use it to buy a bicycle frame. I came home to find out just how bad that wreck was on my road bike and ,there is a new carbon track frame for $500 at the lbs.

Yes, I would be local to wherever it is--say the word, and a few bucks will find that bike being held for you...
You know I am serious, Court :thumb: .

Hell, I'd kick in a few bucks based on the most excellent bar-wrapping guides alone. :)

C0urt, the least you can do is accept some Xmas gifts.
It's not charity, it's the spirit of giving. :)
