Have: Salsa chainring set, 52, 38, and 30 teeth 110/74 bcd, used but in very good shape. They need stronger legs than mine.
Want: Sugino (or similar) 46 and 42 rings, with 24-tooth granny, also 110/74 bcd, need not be new but in similarly very good condition. Would consider just the two larger rings. Also looking for a barrel adjuster from a junked set of Simplex downtube shifters--need it to use as a rear brake bridge adjuster on my Raleigh Gran Sport project.

ISO:
- 1980s quality crankset (Shimano 600 or one of the better Sugino models would be ideal - the frame I'm building up had Sugino VPs, which are OK, but I didn't get the parts); 175mm ideal, 172.5 might work. With or without BB.
- late 80s Shimano 105 SLR brakes, 47-57mm reach (lower priority, but interested).
- chainstay frame protector, one of those aluminum ones with double-sided adhesive on the back. You know?
Have:
- not much. maybe some 600 arabesque bits after the Labor Day weekend: have to visit a guy who's stripping 'em off for a fixie when I get back from NYC on the 5th. I want the RD/shifters, but could pick up the rest if someone's looking for something specific and it might facilitate a trade. Hubs, FD (though the FD looks funny, maybe not a match, doesn't have the 'arabesque' engraving), a beautiful drive side crank/chainrings (the left side crank is a Sugino maxy, or I'd keep it!) I'm pretty new to this, starting a build with no at-the-ready stable of parts...maybe we can work something out.

HAVE: Ringlé Twister quick releases with titanium skewers. Collectable! Dangerous! People love these, but there are lots of reasons I'd put them on my shelf rather than mount them. These are the lovely CNC forged ones. They came in a grotesque lime green, but I removed the anodization (not easy), and they're a very pretty brushed aluminum. I also have yellow Fizik Pavé Saddle with titanium rails. Might even be leather (it's impossible to tell -- back in the day they used both leather and Microtex and didn't tell you which). ISO Raleigh Reynolds 531 fork.
I was blind-sided by a small, Japanese car a couple weeks ago. Luckily the fork, wheel and my clavicle took-one-for-the-team. My LBS gave my '83 Raleigh International MKII frame a clean bill of health.
While my shoulder heals, I'm looking for a Raleigh 531 fork - minimum 190mm long steer tube. Ideally, it's pearl red or chrome, but since neither the car owner nor the driver have insurance, I can't afford to be too picky.
Flat crown is better, but not essential. Same for 531 decals.

so my viscount has turned into an unmitigated disaster at this point, maybe someone can get something good out of it. the stronglight 93 cranks are cracked on the drive side arm, so if anyone needs the rings/ non-drive side etc let me know and I will gladly trade, Also if anyone would like to try their hand at fixing the bike, be my guest, its yours free but I won't ship it. seat post is stuck, stem is stuck. Shimano Tourney and Dura Ace center pull brakes
Suntour clamp on cable guides for above the bottom bracket on downtube
For trade to PNW folks:
I have an early 80's Motobecane mixte frameset (lots of scratches and chips) in pearl white and measuring 51 cm with an English thread bb. I also have a half Scott Sawtooth mtb that my kids didn't want - I got it with stem, frame, wheels, freewheel (in nice condition) and added a flat bar, Altus rear derailleur and a front derailleur. I would really prefer not to ship either one as it seems to be cost prohibitive for what the bikes are - but I could arrange for drop off (especially in the Seattle area - or in the Boise area next week). Let me know if you'd be willing to trade for something.
