Want: Aero levers, to replace my non-aero Shimano 105 levers. I would prefer Shimano, but I'll consider other offers.

I don't have much to trade, so money will have to suffice.

Kurt, where are you? Check PMs

I haven't forgotten about those calipers - hasn't been 'till today that I've recovered enough from the flu to get the bikes out of the way of the display case to get to them.

Take care,

Land Shark Track Shark Pursuit frame
sold on ebay but buyer flaked out.
Just simply too small otherwise you'd not see it listed. Classic pursuit frame. 700c rear, 650c front. Well used prior to my getting it, but all paint chips are touched up, and frame is straight and dent free. The exception to this is the prior owner modified the rear brake bridge (not drilled for a rear brake) to gain more tire clearance by denting the underside of the bridge. No structural issue here, just want to be upfront about it. Third linked picture shows this. Comes with Campagnolo threaded headset.

As an aside, the prior owner used it exclusively on the track.

Toptube is 55cm center to center
seattube is 49cm center to top or 47cm center to center
Headtube is 6.5cm in length.

Want:
Cinelli 26.4 handlebars model 63 or 64 circa 1972 40cm
Cinelli 1A stem 80mm 26.4

I have some 64-40 bars as well. Lots of tape residue but otherwise fine. They are currently attached to a 80mm 1A stem. It looks like it was originally black anodized but the anodizing has faded away completely on top, mostly on the bottom side but not below the insertion mark. Since you'd have to sand the stem down to 22.0 to make it fit the fork that anodizing would have to go anyway. It looks good with no scratches and just a bit of the usual rust inside the bolt that I could remove with oxalic acid (I love that stuff!).

Did the Gentleman rims come in 27 and 700? What size are you looking for?

I am looking to upgrade a Shimano Z505 RD to a Suntour Cyclone MKII Short Cage RD. The Shimano has about 200 miles on it. It is in great shape and I can send pictures if you'd like. I'm open to trade, partial trade or a cash transaction. The Cyclone needs to be in good shape because I plan to put a ton of miles on it.

Well, I can't really follow that post very well...

I parted out a bike, so in addition to all of my have's in my last post (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=8513829&postcount=921)...
-Shimano FC-6400 cranks, 172.5 - pending
-SR Sakae 27.2 seatpost
-Shimano BL-R400 brake levers - gone
-Tektro 521AG long-reach dual pivot brakes - gone
-Shimano Ultegra front hub laced to an American Classic rim
-Shimano Dura Ace (uniglide) rear hub laced to a Mavic rim - includes Dura Ace lockring/small cog, but no cassette
-SR Custom 80mm quill stem (25.4 I believe) - gone
-Shimano UN72 110mm? English bottom bracket, used but in good shape - keeping

Want:
-dust caps for SR quill pedals (or MKS replacement caps)
-brown leather saddle (Brooks, Ideale, Wrights, etc.)
-San Margo Regal in brown/tan
-Dura Ace front track hub, flexible on the vintage, 28h or 32h
-a can of Framesaver
-digital calipers (if the question marks next to measurements were not enough of a hint...)
-Suntour Superbe/Cyclone M-II bits and pieces - getting derailleurs, but I could use some matching brakes and levers...
-a nice Japanese road frame, ~58cm, preferably Reynolds, Columbus, Tange Prestige, etc.
-other interesting parts?

Folks,

I'm trying to sort out offers, etc. I've had a couple of offers on the whole lot, which is what I would prefer. Also I'd rather it went to someone who would use the stuff rather than put it on eBay. I could do that myself.

It took years to accumulate all of this stuff, basically I rode one set and bought replacements of anything I thought I would ever need.

Here is a list of everything:

2 - 7400 cranksets, 170mm - one polished, one anodized - I only have 3 DA dustcaps
2 pair - 7401 Brake calipers one perfect, slight scuff on one lever of other from shipping
2 - RD- one 7400 one 7401, both excellent condition
2 - FD- 7400 Exc
1 - BB English NOS in box
1 - BB Italian VG
1 - BB Italian VG missing fixed cup
3sets - 7400 Brake calipers, one NOS. all recessed bolts, one set missing one barrel adjuster(it may show up)
2- sets replacement brake pads (Ultegra, I think)
2 pair - 7400 pedals (one silver rear plate, one black) with large clips and Cinelli straps - one practically new, one set straps NOS.
2 pair DT shifters -one 7 speed (7401) one 8 speed (7402)
1 pair - Matrix ISO C wheels 32h 7 speed freehub w/skewers and cassette(tires not incl)
1 pair - Mavic MA40 wheels 32h 7 speed freehub w/skewers and cassette(tires not incl)
1 - Galli rim 32h rear freewheel hub, no skewers

All wheels round, true and recently repacked w/gr 25 bearings.

Also pictured is a set of old Dura Ace levers w/Cane Creek hoods, not included, just there for a C&Ver that asked about them

I also have a pile of UG cogs and spacers that I haven't gotten around to inventorying and a few chain rings, 42-45-50 & 52, I think(not positive)

I am in no hurry to part with this stuff, and have no urgent need to rid myself of it. The main bike that used this group was one of my De Rosa's, and I'm converting it to 10 speed Campagnolo.

This Summer I will have a nearly complete Dura Ace AX group available. It's on one of my MI bikes now, and I'm in AZ for a few more months :)

The last thing I need for my forthcoming Chesini build is a Cinelli 80's vintage Model 64 Giro D'italia set of handlebars (http://www.velobase.com/ViewSingleComponent.aspx?ID=6C9D618E-7C4B-4466-8A0F-AC1505347FAD&Enum=112&AbsPos=3) in nice shape with front and back grooves. 42cm size center to center, 26.4 clamp size.

I've got stuff to trade (including a Cinelli Model 64 old logo set of bars--they are narrow) and/or I can paypal.

Campy Ergo capable 8 sp rear derailluer. I could actually use two, but one will get me going. First generation 9 sp has the same index/spacing per shift btw, so one of those would do as well.

STUFF I'M LOOKING FOR:

I'm willing to make trades, WTB, etc, for the following parts.
If you want to trade, make an offer. Doesn't have to be one-to-one.

1. Tange Levin 1" threaded headset, chrome, 26.4 ISO size, not 27.0 JIS size.

2. Campagnolo Record hubs laced to 700c tubular wheels.

3. Campagnolo SL, Nuovo or Super Record pedals.

4. Cinelli "New Logo" quill stem, less than 140mm, preferrably less than 100mm.

5. Brown Bar Tape.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll update my wants and offered lists accordingly.

Please help a brother out.

Ya want to just *borrow* one? I'd loan you mine if you promise to return it intact/undamaged and in a timely manner (as the lawyers say).

Thanks for the offer unworthy1, but since I'll be installing a Regina freewheel on my Bianchi I thought I'd better have a remover of my own on hand to take it off when/if necessary.

Odd trade, but worth a shot, see pics and list on the For Sale thread.
I'm looking to convert a 7700 9-sp road bike to tri/TT, move some Campy stuff to where it belongs.
Perhaps someone is willing to convert from tri/TTT to road...

Willing to trade an Ironman or maybe more to do so. I have other stuff to trade that could be negotiated.

Have (and will ship):
88 Centurion Ironman Master, 8-sp RSX STI's w/Alex wheel set
or
86 Centurion Ironman OEM + Flite Ti saddle, Cinelli steering.

Either would be shipped disassembled, so a "color" change on the '88 is possible (yellow stuff to equal or better black)

Need:
Tri/TT steering/shifting package, don't need stem:
bars,
DA 8/9 sp bar end shifters,
Good bar end brake levers,
DA 7700 RD,
DA 7700 FD,
DA 7700 crankset/bb (double)

Have:

NOS Sachs 7-speed freewheel (I think it's a 13 or 14-26 or something to that extent),

Rider quality low-flange Campagnolo Record hubs 36h,

Want:
Campagnolo Super Record RD (and if you have an FD, I might be interested as well).

-Kurt

Hi, Kurt, I'd be interested in these two parts. Do you still have them? I especially hope the freewheel is a 13 and its a progressive pattern.

In the hubs I'd prefer 120 spacing, because these would go on my Super Course rider project.

I don't have any SR stuff, except for some headset parts. What else are you interested in, or are you interested in a cash deal?

AHH! Did I just commit sacreliege!???

I actually liked the look of the 93's much more than the 99's...

Please, enlighten me as to the magic appeal of the 99's. Or send me a picture of some mounted ones.

It's just the 3-piece cottered cranks are very thin and svelte, and the 99's just look...

Heavier. I suppose clunkier is incorrect terminology.

I think the word we want is zaftig. The crank, not your girlfriend!

WTB/WTT:
Regina 2-prong freewheel removal tool

You might already know this but apparently the old Dura Ace removers worked on the 2-prong Regina freewheels too. Here's a picture from a recent ebay listing for one:

Definately get one with the ring around the outside. The slots on those freewheels are really thin.

Great piece of new info, I will definitely look into the DA remover. Thanks!

Speaking of Dura Ace tools, does anybody happen to have a Dura Ace free hub removal tool?
http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/tools/images/tl-fh10.JPG

Also does anybody know if I can use a different free hub as a replacement?

Edit: no of course the threading is proprietary

I am looking for a 26.2mm chromed steel seatpost. No aluminum please. Any condition.

I'll buy or I have some interesting bits to trade including a no-badge Brooks B-17.

Working on my project Panasonic PR-6000 and aiming for a period correct-ish restoration build. If anyone has leads on the following I'd appreciate it. Circa 90-91 although the parts below are from the 93 factory specs... close enough for me I suppose.

Dura Ace SP-7400-A seat post
Dura Ace FC-7402-SG 53/39T 170mm crank

Dura Ace 32H HB-7400 / FH-7402 hubs
Dura Ace BR-7400 Super SLR brakes
Dura Ace PD-7401 clipless pedals
Mavic GP-4 Super Hard Anodized 32H tubular rims

I think I have one of those rims. It's in used condition (5 or 6 of 10) if I do still have it.
