I put this in the saddle swap thread too but I'm looking for a concor lite or a regal. May consider something else too like a turbomatic or a fizik aliante.

Built up 26 x 1 3/8 EA3 with a CR-18(?) alloy rim and a Nexus 7 Speed red band hub. Seen very, very, little use - but the shifter is a little shop worn.

Want:
A pretty English Frame
Ergo 8 Speed indexed Downtube shifters

Another set of Campy hubs/tubulars
I don't know what else, but it has to be Campy or English and vintage - the Ergo is the only post-early 70s item I'm interested in. Will throw in cash if need be, or vice versa, to even out the deal.

They started out as special purpose helmets for time trials, and are still sometimes used as such when aerodynamics is felt to outweigh comfort.

ISO rear brake pivot bolt for late Super Rec, or Victory for recessed. I have one that is was too short

I had a Victory brakeset I got from an 80's Bottecchia. It seemed to have a non-standard recessed nut, too long and not as narrow. I ended up stealing a standard recessed nut from another brake. You may either need a standard recessed nut, or perhaps your bike has this non-standard brake bridge. If you need the longer nut, I would be happy to swap it with a regular nut.

HAVE:
1972 Schwinn Paramount P-13 fork. No eyelets, revised P-13 geometry. From K72331. Primered. Quite a bit of fork crown pitting. Steerer tube is a generous 8.5" long, but the top 1/4" is damaged. Can re-thread.

WANT:
Don't really know what I want for in trade - Campy stuff always interesting (C-Record, in particular; also have a yearning for a 57-59cm Basso frameset).

Take care,

right hand. I do not have any corse record cranks as yet. Campi would be nice but I am on single key binge right now. colors are good too blue red, green. I found some nice ones on ebay but the seller does not have the brass washer that goes between the bolt and cap.

Hello here is a pic of the offending brake. it came with this thick 'nut' that will not fit in my brake bridge. I can use a regulat nut but, because of the shape of the frame the brakepads (holders) rub the stays unless I use tow starwashers. the cobalto brake is on the left. the one on the right is an older suntour/Diacompe Alpha 5000 for comparison. so I just need a new pivot bolt right?

This is the same nut that was on my Victory rear brake. These must have been made during the transition from nutted to recessed, and I would guess they only fit in a narrow range of frames. I was able to use it with a regular nut on a Trek 660, and your solution of using two washers is probably as good as any.

Hey BF! Thanks for the awesome help with panniers for my C&V winter tour. I'll post a thread and pictures when it gets closer. Seven of us, all on vintage lugged steel, touring! It's gonna rock.

On another note...

I'm doing a bit of hunting on CL and BF right now, for a 49/50/51cm bike for my boss' daughter.

Her daughter wants a "ten speed" for Christmas, and, knowing me as the bike guy, asked me to see what I could drag up for her.

So if anyone has a lower-mid level road bike in those sizes, PM me. Being C&V, I'm down to overhaul it, shoddy condition is okay.

Anyway, keep your eyes peeled and let me know if anything shows up on your local CL or in your shed!
