Classic & Vintage - ISO and For Trade thread parts 2 and 3.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

ISO 58-60 cm road frame, or full bike. Can be steel or aluminum, with for ideally
Prefer 80s or 90s
For a friend getting into road riding for the first time, primarily for triathlons.
Nothing special needed but a good bike on a budget.
I'll either build up a frame or rehab a full bike. Scoping CL now, but willing to see what folks have.

Looking for (and I'm not even sure it exists):
Interesting Italian water bottle cages...not carbon, but not the 50 year old Bianchi mouse traps either. Would settle for c-record cages, nitto r style cages...something interesting.
A nitto stem to fit the B115 bars.

Hmm, has to be Italian? I bought one of these Arundel stainless cages at my LBS a while back and thought it was pretty cool.

I'd definitely jump on them. I do have a set of those (currently crowning the Miyata Team) and have been debating putting them on the Marnati...but the bottles are not in great shape (certainly not like your's).

ISO: Weinmann 750 or similar centerpull brake caliper.

Mine are labeled Raleigh so anything similar with a longer reach than the 610 would be great.

Now ISO:

The Campy bottles add a little flavor, no doubt, but day in, day out, I like Ciussi Elites and King Cages quite a bit.

I've seen the Kings for $18. Very nicely built.
FWIW I paid what I thought was a ridiculous amount for a set before I went to Italy two summers ago. I just looked on ebay and I some with BINs of $200.
The set above look like a strong value at this point.
....and I certainly didn't make that kind of money on the ones I sold.

I love the Suntour SL front derailleur. I have an extra used one I could pass along to you. They show up pretty regularly on Ebay, you know. New or used they bring about the same price (when they sell).
Also have a NIP/NOS set of Suzue HF hubs. Not Sansin but an equal, I think, for that era. Git in touch
if you're interested, Keith.
