I found this on Craigslist here in Jacksonville and was wondering if it was a decent price.

Sorry if this is posted to in the wrong place, I am a bike and bike forum noob. I am looking to turn it into a fixed gear.
Any help is much appreciated.

Looks like a decent price to me....Word of warning though....It may be French threaded.
These oldschool french bikes are sometimes hard to source parts for and work on, especially for novices like us. But I've seen many Peugeot FG and SS conversions on the web. It's certainly very doable. And you will learn alot if you decide to tackle that conversion/resto work yourself.
This particular one is very nice and distinct. I would love to have it myself.
Price seems reasonable depending on the market. I agree that this particular one may be a French threaded nightmare if you're looking to go the SS/Fixed route with it. But not so high end that we would give you grief if you decided to do so. ;)
