Okay, I hadn't seen another thread for pictures of the 50 Plus Kits, so I'm starting one. If, there is another one I apologize in advance. The pictures are from a ride that I did with a riding buddy, who will be able to join the 50 Plus group next month. He can't wait to order his kit.

He and I are planning on riding STP (Seattle to Portland), next year in 1 day. We are looking for any fellow 50 Plus riders, who would be interested in joining us. We would like to have another 6 riders to join in a paceline, all in our 50 Plus Kits. Anyone up for doing 206 miles in 14 to 15 hours?:D

So, here are a couple of pictures from the start of our ride. And I forgot, also in the pictures, is my new Scott Addict R4, I am loving this new ride.:D

Yes abadoki,

I put my 50 Plus kit photo in with the other thread (the one about the kits being mailed) but here it is again, just to continue this thread.

Shown after a night-time fixed gear ride. My wife took the photo. Dots maybe moisture on the lens or maybe mold growing on the lens. Hope it's just moisture . . .

Rick, lookin good. Is your Masi a fixed or ss? I have a older Nishiki that I converted to a ss, but it does have a flip/flop hub so I could run it as a fixie. I'm think it might help to work on my pedal stroke. Here's a picture of the Nishiki.

Yes, it would help with your pedal stroke!

My MASI was my main road bike throughout the late 70's up until the mid-90's. Then it collected dust (couldn't bring myself to sell it). In 2006 I converted it to single speed, then in 2007 I changed it into a fixed gear bike. So now it's 42 x 15t fixed.

Your Nishiki looks good! If you convert it to a fixed gear I think you'll enjoy it more, and probably ride it more as a result!

Rainy,
Not only does your kit look good, there are 2 Fatcyclist jerseys right behind/side you. Very cool.

Yes, and they're both friends of mine. They did not plan it this way--they just showed up in the same jersey.
