Northern California - 12/2 Peninsula Ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
If anyone is around, I'd like to do a ride on Tuesday December 2nd. Of course it's too soon to know about weather and that sort of thing, but I thought I'd put a feeler out to see if anyone else is (still) on vacation that day.
I'd be up for anything, but I'll be looking for some miles after being forcibly removed from my bike for over a week due to Thanksgiving plans.

Don't you have work that day?

You are beginning to sound like an addict! Skipping work, doubling up after being cut off cold turkey for a week....classic symptoms!
Oh, to get back to the main topic: I'm a pass. I am sure work would frown upon my taking off an entire day after having come back from vacation.
Don't you have work that day?
I'm not working that day, no. We're driving back up from San Diego on the 1st, and I didn't feel like driving all day Monday and then heading straight to work at 8am Tuesday, so I'm using an extra vacation day.
So, what's more restful than an all-day ride?!
Nothing, that's what.

I feel sorry for the poor sod(s) who sign-up to ride with Chris on that day: he's gonna tear it up after being away from his bike all week... :)
I'm on vacation now and am getting-in as much mileage as I can before I pig-out on turkey and stuffing.
