I am speaking with a seller who told me that the bike (below) is a mid-90's Fat Chance Rasta bike. I can find no info on the web regarding this specific model, if it indeed is a Fat Chance. The seller does not seem to know too much about the bike and says everything, minus a chain and rear deraileur is included. She is asking $200. Anybody recognize this bike and if so what can you tell me about it? The seller is about 1 1/2hours from me so I would like to know as much as I can befiore I take that ride!

I cannot make this bike look like a Fat. Sorry. It might be, but there are only a few years that they used the wishbone rear seat stay arrangement, and this seems to be lacking the rest of the details to match a Fat.
Look here (http://mombat.org/Fat_Chance.htm) and decide for yourself.

luker,
Thanks for the reply and the link. I had seen that site and it got me wondering as well. Also the bike in question has front rack mounts on the fork and none of the Fat Chance's that I have seen have them....

Man....in the early days of NORBA, those were the bikes I wanted. Fat and Kleins.

Try to get a look at the head-badge. Chris Chance usually used a start or variation thereof. Or it could be from the same outfit he was in in Somerville that was working semi-together on new bicycle designs. Check for signs of the tubing. He also tended to use Columbus.
