On the '03 and earlier 853 steel Lemonds, what, if anything, were the differences between these frames? Were they all the same frame with came with different paint, decals and components?

Also, some 853 bikes come with 853 PRO and others with 853 SELECT - what's with that?

Pro is all 853 and select is mixed. You wont tell much difference.

I know the Maillot Jaune and Zurich are essentially the same frame... jsut when Lemond builds them up, the MJ get's Dura-ace, and the Zurich Ultegra

The BA has 853 Select.. a mix of 853 and 525 ( I think)
