I was riding along a local MUP at a pretty good speed when a line of wild turkeys popped out of the woods and ran right across the path. Fortunately, I hit the gap between the turkeys, yelling “hey turkey” which caused the last one in line to veer off. I rode off thinking “dang I could have had a free turkey dinner.”

They were not trying to attack you, they were rushing out to greet their brother turkey.
